Technical Communicator: Where 25+ years of editorial precision meets modern, user-centred documentation design.

After more than 25 years as a freelance academic editor and education consultant, I recently completed the Technical Communication program at Simon Fraser University. As a lifelong learner, my goal is to build on my existing skills and continue to grow as a technical communicator in varied contexts. I bring to the table:

• skills in technical writing, editing, reviewing, publication design and formatting
• experience in collaboration, planning, and scheduling for document preparation
• practice in the creation of templates, procedure documents, training and instructional materials, how-to guides, indexes, and style guides
• thorough understanding of the user-centred approach to creating technical documentation
